Irvine, CA – April 7, 2010 – Kunlun Online, a 2.5D Free-to-Play Chinese fantasy MMORPG, is set to enter Open Beta on Friday, April 23 at 6pm Pacific time.

Developed by SmartCell Technology, Kunlun Online is a PVP oriented MMORPG based off stories from Chinese methodological classic Shan Hai Jing. The game has a Chinese version that has recently entered open beta, registering hundreds of thousands players. This English-based, international version of Kunlun Online entered closed beta in North America on March 31. Beta players are giving the game a thumb up after a week into the CB. The consensus is that that the graphics is very appealing and the gameplay is well designed and fun. Among a wide range of features, their favorites include the pets, the mounts, the automated navigation and killing, the armor system, and the various PVP events and PVE raiding. Currently, the develop team is working tirelessly on translation fixes and improvement of the game based on players’ feedback, and they are confident that the game will even get better before the Open Beta.
